At Air Horizont, one of the pillars that ensures our flights are a unique experience is the work of the crew. Today we would like to introduce you to Jessica, one of our cabin managers, who plays a crucial role in ensuring that each flight runs safely, efficiently and, of course, pleasantly for all our passengers.

Jessica, with years of experience in aviation, tells us about her day-to-day life as a cabin manager, the unexpected situations that sometimes arise in mid-flight and how at Air Horizont we know how to handle every situation with safety and a smile, making sure that the experience of flying with us is unforgettable.

The responsibility of being a Cabin Manager

Jessica begins by introducing herself with a smile, "Hi, I'm Jessica, I'm a flight purser here at Air Horizont, or commonly referred to in English as cabin manager. Today I'm going to answer some of your doubts and questions about what happens on board."

The responsibility of being a cabin manager is no small feat. Jessica is in charge of coordinating all cabin crew, making sure that safety standards are met and that every passenger has a pleasant experience during their flight. "The most important thing is always safety, but we also do everything we can to make sure passengers feel comfortable and well looked after from the moment they board until we land," she explains.

At Air Horizont, we are committed not only to safety, but also to creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels welcome. For Jessica, the key to her success as a cabin manager is knowing how to communicate with passengers, being empathetic and, of course, being prepared for any situation.

How to resolve unexpected situations on board

Jessica tells us that, although most of the time everything goes smoothly, sometimes unexpected situations arise that require quick action and a calm attitude. "Sometimes we have passengers who come in drunk or confrontational, and they don't want to follow the safety rules," she explains. "For example, when you ask them to put their carry-on bag in the overhead bin at emergency exits, some don't understand or don't want to do it."

These types of situations, while rare, are a reminder of how important it is to be prepared and trained to resolve conflicts safely. "In my case, I always try to explain it in a calm and friendly manner. In the end, most people understand that the rules are not optional and are there for their safety," he adds.

At Air Horizont, we know that creating a friendly environment where our passengers feel they can trust the crew is essential. Jessica and her team are trained to handle any eventuality with professionalism and a positive attitude.

The value of teamwork

Another key aspect of Jessica's job as cabin manager is teamwork. "Here at Air Horizont, all of us crew members know we're a family," she tells us. "We're all in sync, and that's very important because in the air, we need to trust each other 100 percent."

From the moment a flight takes off, Jessica makes sure that the entire team is coordinated and that each crew member knows his or her role. This not only ensures the safety of the flight, but also that passengers receive the best possible care. "We are always in constant communication, both with each other and with the captain and flight officers. In this way, any small incident is resolved immediately and efficiently."

Remaining calm at all times

One of the biggest challenges facing any crewmember is keeping calm in stressful situations. "In the cockpit, you can encounter all kinds of personalities and moods. The most important thing is to stay calm and not let the stress get to you," Jessica explains. "Our attitude directly affects the passengers. If they see us calm, they calm down, too."

It is this friendly and calm approach that sets Air Horizont apart. Jessica ensures that, even if there is turbulence or difficult moments, the priority is that passengers feel they are in good hands.

Create an unforgettable experience

For Jessica, the most rewarding part of her job is being able to create a memorable experience for each passenger. "One of the things I like most is seeing how passengers relax and enjoy their flight. From small details like offering a smile to accommodating a special request, we all go out of our way to make the flight as comfortable as possible."

At Air Horizont, we believe that every passenger should feel special. Whether it's a short or long flight, the in-flight experience always has to be enjoyable. "Every flight is an opportunity to make someone have a good memory of their trip. And that, at the end of the day, is what fulfills me the most," Jessica concludes.

Flying with Air Horizont: an unforgettable experience

The experience of flying with Air Horizont is not just about the destination, but everything that happens along the way. Thanks to people like Jessica and the rest of the cabin crew, we ensure that every flight is safe, comfortable and, above all, an experience that passengers will remember with a smile.

We are proud to have such a dedicated and professional team that makes sure every passenger enjoys their flight with us. Thank you, Jessica, for being part of the Air Horizont family and for all you do to make every flight unforgettable.
