Avalanche rescue backpack One (1) per person, containing a compressed gas cartridge in Div. 2.2. Security equipment such as briefcases, cash boxes, cash bags, etc. that incorporate dangerous goods as part of this equipment, e.g. lithium batteries or pyrotechnic material, may be transported as checked baggage only if the equipment complies with the following:

1. the equipment must be equipped with an effective means to prevent accidental activation;
2. If the equipment contains an explosive or pyrotechnic substance or an explosive article, this article or substance must be excluded from Class 1 by the competent national authority of the State of manufacture.
3. If the equipment contains lithium cells or batteries, these cells or batteries must comply with the following restrictions:
   1. for a lithium metal battery, the lithium content does not exceed 1 g;
   2. for a lithium metal battery, the aggregate lithium content does not exceed 2 g;
   3. for lithium-ion cells, the nominal power in watt-hours does not exceed 20 Wh;
   4. for lithium-ion batteries, the nominal power in watt-hours does not exceed 100 Wh;
   5. each cell or battery is of a type that meets the requirements of each test in the United Nations Manual of Tests and Criteria, Part III, subsection 38.3.
